SteelSeries new Arctis Nova 5X wireless headset connects via wireless 2.4 GHz or Bluetooth to your PC, console or phone. Unlike previous models, the Arctis Nova 5X offers an app called Arctis Nova 5 for both iOS and Android so you can take advantage of all of it’s features. The headset offers a response range of 20 – 22,000 Hz from it’s 40mm neodymium drivers and while it lacks ANC, the closed over the ear design should mute quite a bit of the distractions in your environment.
According to TweakTown the Nova 5X’s ClearCast 2.X microphone is decent enough, which is not bad for a gaming headset and can be improved with the accompanying app. The audio quality of the headphones themselves is much better, and with over 100 specific game profiles you can have a lot of fun with the headset.
